Years ago, when I worked for Weichert, Realtors, they gave awards for "Most Open Houses". You didn't have to sell at opens, just hold them. Jim Weichert believed that getting those yellow signs out there was good publicity.
I have sold a number of homes at Opens. I believe in them.
I've never gave recruiting agents via open houses any thought. I don't think much about recruiting agents though...
