Maureen: Nicely done... And your great Google ranking tells me your efforts are organic and based on a lot of good content, otherwise Google's Penguin update would most likely have put you several pages back.

Rene,

Recent changes that ActiveRain made makes the content show up better in the search engines for AR than it often does for the Outside Blog. On each post AR tells search engines that the original content is on the Outside Blog.

This one is "Originally posted at: Columbus Ohio real estate : S. Delaware County Ohio Homes - a place on the web Generate short URL"

I have grown fond of my Outside blogs doing well and showing up better than the content does on AR.  Yes my info is on the AR posts that are my content but readers can more easily migrate away to others in my market. That's why I use AR Outside blogs.

While a search shows the sdelawarecohomes.com blog still in number one before Trulia and ActiveRain, a lot of searches the content on the Outside blog is no longer in the top three positions.  ActiveRain is showing up better though for my content.

Using a search for homes for sale in a s. Delaware County, Ohio school district:

I know AR has to do what they have to do to get the search engines to increase traffic on AR, but I think they should have addressed this before or as they were making changes.

I considered pulling the southern Delaware County content off and republishing it and hosting it on WordPress.org or putting it on my existing WordPress.org blog.  I may still do that.  I will be watching how things show up in the search engines.

I have unresolved requests for support from ActiveRain back as far as November 2011, I had to change how I did market reports because of a conflict w/ Real Bird.  I am very disappointed that ActiveRain did not resolve anything.   Perhaps that is part of why my content is not showing up as well. I am very frustrated w/ AR.
