Maureen: Now this is the kind of grocery store I can support! We're seeing similar stores opening around the Pacific Northwest and they're doing well... (hope the chains are listening!)

This is a chain of 26 stores but if Ohio is representative there is one store in earch city, one in Cleveland, one in the Akron warea, one in the Dayton area and now one in Columbus.  We have two Trader Joe's in town, two Whole Foods and a health food store called Raisin Rack.  Everything but Raisin Rack is a chain.  Raisin Rack only has two stores, the other is in northeast Ohio, in Canton.

We have some interesting grocery stores / supermarkets in central Ohio.

Maureen this looks like my kind of store.  I am out of tomatoes and couldn't keep my eyes off the ones in your photo :)

Jennifer  These were so prettyand photogenic.  They had samples of heirloom tomatoes. Funny looking but delicious.  I think I am going back today to shop a bit.
