The Dublin Field of Honor - September 11, 2011

The flags will be up until 6 PM today. School children are visiting today.
We went about 6:30 Sunday because I had to work during the afternoon when many local communities had events in remembrance of real life events in September 11, 2001.
The photo is the possession of a friend, used with permission.

Maureen Sad never the less great picture of the memorial of a terrible event, it is important to reflect on the 10th Anniversary of a day none of us will ever forget, it is important, to remember, to express our gratitude to those who demonstrated what it is to be a hero, and to pledge ourselves to live in honor of their bravery.
I heard something yesterday that 20,000 were saved because of the first responders? Not sure if the 20,000 was in NYC or NYC and at the Pentagon.
Either way that is a fantastic number even if it is combined. No I did not hear about it, thanx for sharing.
Maureen, that's a very somber day for our nation. I like the picture, it really embodies our national pride.
thanks
