The August 2011 average sale price of $172,00 is the highest we have seen in 15 months. The average sale price of a home in Franklin County was $166,000 in August 2010.
Average Franklin County active (list price, the "for sale" price) is virtually unchanged since April 2011 at $192,000. The average active price was $194,000 in August 2010.

The average active price in Franklin County in August 2011 of $182,000 was down 1.6% from a year ago. The average sale price of $163,000 is up 2.5% from August 2010.
The August 2011 median sale price of $125,000 for single family homes in Franklin County was down 7.4% from a year earlier. Median sale price is NOT shown in the graph.
