It's Furnace Filter Friday because it is the first Friday of the month. In the video Open House: Energy Saving Tips... it looks like they are someplace warmer than Central Ohio. Or warmer year round. I think we have warm weather in our holiday weekend forecast. In the video he's on a step ladder, most Central Ohio furnaces are in the basement. Or sometimes Central Ohio furnaces are in a utility room or a closet within the living space if the home does not have a basement. Very seldom do Central Ohioans have to climb a ladder to check out their furnace filter.
I was going to post a video about installing a programmable thermostat... thinking this was just some ordinary Friday...
Instead this video about maintaining your furnace...
They check their filter on Mondays. How odd. I guess the first Monday is Home Maintenance Mondays. Not a bad idea but I am sticking with Furnace Fridays (every Friday unless I forget) with the first Friday, Furnace Filter Friday. If you are changing or checking your furnace filter monthly this is your cue.
