Missy, you may be right about a party in the 'burbs rather than downtown Detroit.
We are doing an event in Worthington.... Real Living being a sponsor is separate than Real Living HER Worthington hosting the cook out here... kinda sota...two different companies... we are doing the cook out at our Worthington office (right on High Street ) route 23 (what you take up to MI... or at least how you start the journey to the Detroit area...) We are right inside 270.. Real Living Title (part of Real Living too of course) and their partner Chicago Title is sponsoring the party for Real Living HER Worthington office.
DT Columbus is nice. The Metro Office of Real Living HER is right downtown across from the Convention Center on Nationwide Blvd. Same buliding as Real Living is based in...same building Real Living HER is based in.. but it's busy streets, pay for parking... we have a big parking lot, side streets with free parking and a lot of grass around our building.
There are some people in my office who are very involved in this. Tom our fearless leader, Elaine Reese, Eric who will decorate (we told Eric it is Mardi Gras in July... he is from Loiusianna does a great Mardi Gras party on Fat Tuesday...) And some people outside Real Living HER, Deb Simons with Real Living Title, Chelsea Hamilton the Real Living HER marketing coordinator.
The other big yearly party that Real Living Worthington has is the tail gate party on the Friday of Beat Michigan Week...
Missy you could try to beat Ohio... throw a bigger party since you are the day after the Ohio party. You have the edge!
Hey--they skipped Texas totally! We have 7 Real Living offices in Texas....
Would love to see them come to Austin.
The Blog Tour USA destinations were picked by Sellsius° Real Estate Blog / Blog Tour USA long before Real Living became a sponsor..??? There is a discussion when they announced the tour on the Blog Tour USA site of why no Texas on the tour.
There was discussion on the Blog Tour USA site just yesterday about luring the blog bus to Texas.... It's on the entry that is Day 2 of the Blog Tour USA blog (the day they were in Philadelphia.) In the comment a blogger from Boston (I should remember who) was saying he lured Joe and Rudy to Boston with clam chowder... h
