Who has the best hamburgers in Central Ohio?
Columbus is of course the home of White Castle and Max and Erma's and the birthplace of Wendy's ....
Clara Peller asked "Where's the beef?" about burgers other than Wendy's back in 1984.
I must have blogged about burgers back on the original Discover Columbus, my RealTown blog...or maybe when it was still named Columbus Best Blog.
A road trip searching for the best burgers? What a life.
He says a road trip to the south. Or south of NY?
Columbus Ohio is in Central Ohio approximately 3 hours and 47 minutes south of the Canadian border (Google tells me so.) Columbus is straight west from NYC. ....Columbus is a great place to approach the south.. Cinci or maybe even Dayton is where the south starts unofficially... Officially the south is right across the river from Cincinnati Ohio... rapid immersion.
Back to Central Ohio..I've heard Thurman Cafe has the best burgers.....in Columbus. I've had one. I don't remember it though.
The Columbus food bloggers must know local burgers.... well except any Columbus food bloggers who are vegetarians...

I hadn't eaten at White Castle since a small boy. In 2005 my wife & I went to St Louis and saw one. It was awful, awful, awful. Dry, tasteless and just horrible. I don't eat burgers so much. A good byson burger is just as good. ;)
There is nothing like a good cheeeeeeeeeseburger....don't know if we still have white castles...none in the neighborhood that I know of but there are a number of places that have sliders (mini burgers now also as fish sandwiches) that I always associate with Castle....fried onions...Ketchup....mmmmm...doesn't get better than that...you know I would be here for the food !
I don't personally eat Slyders (or Sliders) but I treat them with the greatest respect since White Castle is based in Central Ohio...
US Map - shows the only restaurants in WI are in Racine and Kenosha....

I was not sure if this was a joke... I slammed a PR firm recently that spammed me to go buy their clients burger and blog about it....
I responded to Nick via email who did not provide a phone number.... suggesting some of the Columbus food bloggers. I want to know what PR firm he is with? "Creative Agency" or is advertising different than PR? I saw a press release about a burger that went out on Sunday that makes me wonder....
