Not a big Madonna fan? Me either but when I read the chart about the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit the song starts playing in my head. You know the old song I am referring to though don't you? 1984? Wow 25 years ago...
The lyrics to the song go something like...
"Like a virgin
for the very first time...
like a vir-ir-gen"
Maybe there are other lyrics. If so I don't know them. Found 'em...

Enough karaoke....the point?
If you do not own a home and have not owned a home for three years, Voila YOU are a virgin first time home buyer again when it comes to the 2009 Home Buyers Tax Credit.
A recent email from NAR (the National Association of Realtors, our trade organization) said:
"To qualify as a “first-time home buyer” the purchaser or his/her spouse may not have owned a residence during the three years prior to the purchase."
