The Name the Baby Elephant Contest ends May 6, 2009 at midnight... there are four names to choose from and you are not limited to voting once if you feel real strongly the baby pachyderm should have a particular name. The Columbus Zoo Name the Baby Elephant Contest says:
"Get your vote in early and often."

... baby needs a name. I don't remember what they did when his brother was born 5 years ago but I know I read about the gorilla born in the 1950's, Colo the naming was done nationally, she was on the Today Show, it was a real big deal.
