This graph shows the inventory (Westerville homes for sale) for the past 15 months.  Westerville homes are all homes in the Westerville City School District in this case and this is only single family homes.  This does not include condominiums in the area. 

The 6.6 months of inventory (Westerville homes for sale) is pretty balanced, it is neither a sellers market or a buyers market.  A balanced market is a pretty healthy situation for a real estate market. In my opinion this graph looks like the Westerville schools market is improving. Often the inventory of homes for sale will go down this time of year because of the holidays and the weather. That usually does not happen until November or December.

Westervile homes sold in October was only up by one sale over October 2010.  The number of homes for sale is down 17.1% from a year ago, when there were 498 Westerville homes for sale. The 6.6 months of inventory (Westerville homes for sale) is down 18.4% from October 2010.

The Columbus Board of REALTORS announced October home sales on Monday, Home Sales Up According to the Columbus Board of Realtors. Home sales were up 8.6% over the whole mls (the Columbus Board of Realtors multiple listing service.)

There were 66 Westerville home sales in September 2011.  There were 455 Westerville homes for sale.  Compare that to September 2010 when 55 Westerville homes sold and there was an inventory (Westerville homes for sale) of 516 single family homes.

Westerville schools get an A+  or "Excellent with Distinction"  which is just too long for a title. 

The 2010 - 2011 school year report cards are out and Westerville received the "Excellent with Distinction" designation from the Ohio Department of Education.  "Excellent with Distinction" is the highest designation the Ohio Department of Education bestows.

The Ohio Department of Education also rates the individual schools. You can check designations for each elementary, middle and high school in Westerville City Schools on the state site.

Westerville North Football Schedule -2011 the Westerville North Warriors!

The Westerville North Warrior football schedule for 2011 is from a sports site called MaxPreps.com. I am sure the 2011 schedule and more is available on the Westerville North High School website as well. 

Football Friday Night in Central Ohio means Back to School as well, Franklin County Back to School 2011 includes the Westerville City School District. Delaware County Back to School 2011 includes the Westerville City School District too.  I believe there are students in both counties in the attendence area for Westerville North High School.  The high school attendance areas in the Westerville City School District are more challenging to me than other Central Ohio school districts.  Attendance areas for all three Westerville high schools as well as elementary and middle schools are available on the district website.

Westerville schools start back on August 17, 2011! 

An article in the Columbus Dispatch says Westerville and Grandview students are heading back to school on August 17, 2011.   That's early. 

It sounds like the August 17 date is about a week earlier than usual for Westerville schools. It will allow seniors to finish the first semester and tests before the holidays, according to the Columbus Dispatch article.

In 'Districts' start dates also benefit students' written by Charlie Boss of the Columbus Dispatch, an earlier completion of the 2011 - 2012 school year is another benefit of the early start.

In June 2011 there were 11.6% more homes for sale than a year ago. June home sales were down 8.1% from June 2010 when most buyers were eligible for a home buyer tax credit.    

The Westerville school district is a Central Ohio real estate market with neighborhoods in both Franklin County  and Delaware County.
