The number of homes for sale in December 2011 was down 11.6% from a year ago. The number of home sales in Dublin during December 2011 was exactly the same as in December 2010.

Dublin, Ohio schools includes properties in Franklin, Delaware and Union Counties. The most recognizable Dublin area has two zip codes, 43016 and 43017. However not all homes in the Dulin, Ohio 43016 and Dublin, Ohio 43017 zip codes are in Dublin schools. If Dublin or another Central Ohio school district is important to you, double check the property tax records and the school district attendance area of any home you are interested in. There are homes with a Dublin mailing address in Columbus, Hilliard and Worthington schools... perhaps there are homes with a Dublin address in other school districts too, it's complicated.

In September 2011, 50 Dublin single family homes sold compared to 30 in September 2010. There were 453 Dublin homes for sale in September 2010 compared to 418 in September 2011.

Dublin home sales were up 66.7% in September 2011 compared to a year earlier.  Inventory (homes for sale) decreased 7.7% from September 2010.  I peeked at Dublin home prices...  Prices are up from a year ago.

The graph is showing home prices in Dublin schools for the past 15 months.  The average active (for sale) price of a single family Dublin home in August 2011 was $430,000.  Dublin is Dublin schools.  The average sale price of a home in Dublin schools was $382,000.  You can see in the graph how that compares to July 2011 and to a year ago.

Since Dublin schools straddles more than one county here for sake of comparison is a market report for entire counties.

The Dublin Field of Honor  - September 11, 2011

Dublin Field of Honor

The flags will be up until 6 PM today.  School children are visiting today.  

We went about 6:30 Sunday because I had to work during the afternoon when many local communities had events in remembrance of real life events in September 11, 2001.

The Dublin Scioto High School football schedule 2011

I used the information available on a site called MaxPreps.com for the Dublin Scioto Irish football schedule for 2011. I could have just used the Varsity Football schedule on the stadium.

Football Friday Night in Central Ohio means Back to School as well, Franklin County Back to School 2011 includes the Dublin City School District. Delaware County Back to School 2011 includes the Dublin City School District too.  I believe there are students in both counties in the attendence area for Dublin Scioto High School attendance area.

This graph shows homes for sale (inventory) based on sales for the past 15 months.  Homes for sale  edged up from June 2011 from 5.2 months to 5.8 months.  Dublin home sales in July were down 15.5% from June 2011.  The 71 homes sold in July 2011 is up 12.7% from last year.   Homes for sale was down 15.9% from last year when there was 6.9 months based on sales.
