I first drove through Minerva Park in the winter... in 1990. Sometimes I think Minerva Park with it's lakes, ravines, streams and trees is prettiest in winter.
Yes I think Minerva Park is prettiest in the winter... except when it is spring and the flowering trees are blooming and the daffodils and tulips are blooming... then I think Minerva Park is prettiest in the spring.
Yes I think Minerva park is prettiest in the spring.... except when the tree's are blazing reds, yellows and oranges in autumn...... Minerva Park has lots of trees then I think Minerva Park is prettiest in the fall...
Minerva Park in the summer with all the fresh green trees, the beautiful flowers in many of the yards, the lakes in all their glory. The golf course (privately owned) beautifully manicured, the swimming pool full of cool clear water. Minerva Park is beautiful in the summer.... and a lot of fun for the residents.
Homes in Minerva Park were mostly built between 1940's and the 1960's. There's a variety of ranch, cape cods, split levels and two stories in Minerva Park. The Village is a great community to find a mid century home at a great price.
The Village website says of the history of Minerva Park:
" 7-13-1895 to 7-27-1902 For seven glorious summers, laughter and gaiety rang forth from the first amusement park in Franklin County. With intoxicants banned, the Park was enjoyed by the “respectable” folk of the Gay ’90s."
Many of the lots in Minerva Park are very generous by Central Ohio standards.
Minerva Park is glorious in the summer...
