Grandview Heights is #19 of '365 Places to Live in Columbus' on ColumbusBestBlog.com and the Facebook page called '365 Places to Live in Columbus.'

Columbus Neighborhoods including Grandview Heights on '365 Places to Live in Columbus'

The post is mostly a post written back in April 2007 when Trulia introduced "Heat Maps"  and said of Grandview Heights:

"HOT NEIGHBORHOOD
Lots of activity and consumer interest compared to other Columbus neighborhoods."

I was not sure if the "neighborhood" Trulia referred to was the Grandview Heights area, or if they were lumping that area with the City of Grandview Heights.

The #19 on '365 Places to Live in Columbus' is the city of Grandview Heights.  Not that the area of the City of Columbus near Grandview Heights is not "HOT."   It is.  Perhaps the hottest area in the City of Columbus....I just have 346 more "Places" to go...

Teen Puts ‘Pet Project’ In Front Of Council

In the Reader Reaction to the story on NBC4i.com "Sprockets" said:

"There are very good reasons why farm animals are called “farm animals” and not “suburb” or “city animals.“  In fact, there are several reasons.  So what if this guy wants to keep chickens?  Let him grow up, get a job, and move to the freaking country."

"Sprockets" mentions also he lived next door to someone who had a rooster...

Doesn't moving to the country kind of defeat that whole urban sustainability thing?  The pet chickens are the second step in the teen's plan.  First step a garden.

Andy Smigelski the Grandview Heights Ohio teen who wants to keep chickens in his backyard goes before the safety committee of the Grandview Heights council on Thursday. 

Worthington's Chicken Leash Laws  there was talk of a pet chicken law not too long ago.
