Worthington Schools - NOT
I found a "Hot Worthington listing" on Zillow in the Columbus Ohio 43235 ZIP code* or NOT.
The "listing" on Lorraine is in The Gables. The Gables is a lovely, sought after northwest Columbus neighborhood in the Columbus City School District.
Search for The Gables homes for sale or other Northwest Columbus neighborhoods
- search by neighborhood or subdivision
- search by Central Ohio school district
Zillow shows a home in "Worthington" for sale for $119,000 but it's not
- It is not for sale
- It is not priced at $119,000
- It is not in the City of Worthington....
- and it is not in the Worthington City School District!
Bet if you click on that question mark on Zillow it says that Zillow is not telling you these are the schools for the property address. Just telling you about nearby schools... it is automated and with complex Central Ohio school district boundaries it is usually not that useful in some parts of the City of Columbus.
Strangely. I think the real schools are much closer to the house than the Worthington schools that Zillow's automation has picked up.... for this home in The Gables.
About the home not being for sale...the home is simply a home that may be for sale at some point... aren't they all?
Zillow can be fun but ...
- Their Zestimates are inaccurate (Zestimates are usually high... well except when Zestimates are low...) ;-)
- They tell you houses are for sale (looks like the house on Lorraine is for sale but it's not. It is pre foreclosure or maybe on the market someday...
- They tell you about the nearby schools but not necessarily the schools for the home... and it is NOT just a matter of attendance areas in a given school district.... it is wrong school district info
* The Columbus Ohio 43235 ZIP code has homes in the Columbus, Dublin and Worthington School District. A ZIP code is a mail route.
