Celebrities caught in housing pickle is the headline of a Trulia Newsletter that recently hit my mailbox.
"Here are three celebs who've reduced their prices on Trulia in hopes of snagging a buy."
The words "on Trulia" is a link to Trulia.com in the email (SPAM?) in my mailbox, to Columbus Ohio on Trulia. Columbus celebrities??
I bite... because welll....who can resist celebrities?? Celebrity's homes...
The email (SPAM?) from Trulia.com says:
"If you think you’re the only one having hard time selling, think again. Even celebrities with multi-million dollar pads are struggling to sell their homes in today's market. Marvelous mansions with remodeled kitchens, sprawling gardens and tennis courts just aren't receiving any bites. So what are celebrities doing to add some appeal? Simple, reduce the price.
Much like the cherry on a sundae, nothing tops off a great pad more than reducing it by a few thousand – if not millions – of dollars. Here are three celebs who've reduced their prices on Trulia in hopes of snagging a buyer.
Got any tips on home selling?"
I wonder are these celebrities selling their homes NOT in their local MLS??? Not listed with a local real estate agent? Are these celebrities just posting their homes on Trulia.com in hopes of a sale? Is Trulia.com that hot even in a cold market... goodness who doesn't want to buy a celebrities home??? Or at least read about celebrities homes.
If I look down further the links to the celebrities in pickles are right in the email (SPAM?) in my mailbox from Trulia:
Is "Daddy Spears" a celebrity? Turns out Daddy Spears is selling Britney's estate... of course, busy girl.
"Richard Dreyfuss takes a loss on his San Diego pad"
"Sex advice author Laura Corn reduces home value 16%"
Oooo la la SEX and Celebrity!!!!
I have never heard of Laura Corn.
Seriously reading the newsletter and clicking the links two out of three of the celebrities homes are not sold yet... two that are still available have taken price reductions. And yes they are on the market with real estate agents, not just posted on Trulia.com Bet they reduced their price on more than just Trulia.
Here's something from SPAM the canned meat.... Pickles go good with SPAM.... Complete SPAM™ Meal
"Put parsley on ... to make it look pretty. Pickles go well with this meal."
Of course they do!
All the links have been broken in this post. Dying for info on the celeb's ordeal in the housing pickle? Trulia.com has the rest of the story in their newsletter.
I suppose it's not SPAM I must have signed up for it....
Pickle Wikipedia "This image is a work of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, taken or made during the course of an employee's official duties. I thought about photographing a pickle and then taking a bite and photographing....
